Mrs. Rasida and Mr. Mafijul are the parents of Mast. Rahidul. Father works as a daily wage worker and he merely earns enough to meet their ends meet. With a basic income of INR.7000 - INR.8000, the family can manage only basic household expenses and medicines for the child. Rahidul needs this treatment for survival and we believe every one of you will extend a helping hand to save the life of this baby.

    Rahidul is a 2-year-old child who has been diagnosed with a case of Left Eye Orbital Retinoblastoma. Retinoblastoma is a rare type of eye cancer that can affect young children, usually, under the age of 5. Retinoblastoma is an eye cancer that begins in the retina — the sensitive lining on the inside of your eye. Retinoblastoma most commonly affects young children, but can rarely occur in adults.

    Currently, the child is undergoing treatment and other supportive medical care. Doctors have advised and plans for High Dose Chemotherapy treatment and Radiation Therapy with other supportive medical care. He has been under the treatment of Dr. Veena Akkineni (Pediatric Oncologist).

    The entire High Dose Chemotherapy Treatment and Radiation Therapy would go for 9 months with visits ranging from weekly, bi-monthly, and monthly.

    The vision of the child is poor and the treatment needs to start at the earliest.

    The total approximate expenditure for this procedure is INR. 4,37,000

    Since Parent’s Financial condition is poor, we urge every one of you to donate and share this story as much as possible so that this child’s life can be saved at the earliest.

    Rahidul's 6th Chemo has been done and CT scan report has come. Doctors had asked Rahidul for surgery. There will be some tests before the surgery. However, due to fever and cough the tests couldn't be done. Once Rahidul's health gets better, the tests will be done and the date for the surgery would be given by the doctor.

    Rahidul’s was diagnosed as Left Eye Orbital Retinoblastoma. His Chemotherapy was getting done at American Oncology Institute. However, the parents shifted the child to Rainbow Children’s Hospital, Vijayawada.
