Why Pratijnya Foundation

Pratijnya Foundation is the registered name of Pledge Foundation which was incorporated in the year 2021 under section 8 of Companies Act, 2013.

We started our work in August 2020 under the brand name - “Pledge Foundation” but since policy changes for non-profit registration we had to continue with the name - “Pratijnya” which itself means “Promise”.

Our brand and the registration name i.e. “Pledge” and “Pratijnya” serve the purpose of “Promise” of serving the community and the planet that we live on.

Please Note: All our official bank documents and registration documents have the name Pratijnya Foundation and if you wish to favor a check, please issue it in the name of Pratijnya Foundation.
