Medcare - Medicinal Care Accessibility

Pledge Foundation focuses on children who undergo surgery or treatment with provision of medicines that their family cannot afford thus making medicines accessible for them. The amount that you donate gets utilised for making medicines available for children.

India ranks at a dismal 145th in quality and accessibility of health services globally where as many as one-third of the deaths are preventable with timely communication about and availability of medication. Physiological state is impossible without access to pharmaceutical products.

Lack of medicinal access causes misery and suffering, from the unbearable pain of a child’s earache to women who die because of bleeding during childbirth, to deaths from diseases that are easily and inexpensively prevented or cured. Lack of access to medicines is one inequality which will be measured by a starkly visible yardstick: numbers of preventable deaths.

2 Billion people haven't any essential medicinal access, shutting them off from the benefits of advances in modern science and medicine.

Of those, quite a 3rd (700 million people) live in India. With its large population, poverty, and struggling health care system, India is home to a disproportionate share of the worldwide disease burden and suffers from a chronic shortage of resources in healthcare touchpoints like community health organisations, hospitals, clinics serving the needy.
