Anjali and Prashant Talwalkar had been waiting for their first child. They had counted weeks, picked names, made small plans. They are first-time parents — and like every first-time parent, they expected the normal moments: a cry, a first feeding, a photograph to send to family.

None of that happened. On 8th April 2026, Anjali delivered through a cesarean section. Her baby came out at just 30 weeks and 5 days — over two months early. She weighed 960 grams. Less than a kilo. Lighter than a small pineapple.
