“I was already suffering from cancer. There’s a tumor in my nose. My husband, my baby, and I shifted to Bangalore for my treatment. My husband started as a daily wage laborer and with such a low income in Bangalore, we had no other option but to stay in the room where my husband used to work. We thank the kind souls who still allow us to stay in the room because of which we don’t have to pay any rent. My baby Bhumika is just 2 years old and a few months back she started feeling a lot of stomach pain. After diagnosis, we found she had a tumor in her stomach and it needed to be treated at the earliest but we didn’t have any money as we already spent all that we had on my treatment and for our family’s basic necessities and survival. We had left all our hopes and we were planning to go back to our village and at that moment, the doctor referred our case to Pledge Foundation.”

It commonly affects children aged 5 or younger). And she has been advised Chemotherapy, Radiotherapy, and Surgery. The approximate cost of this treatment is about INR. 2,00,000/- (Two Lakh Only).
