Born Prematurely & Suffering from Weight Loss Due to Jaundice | Save Life of 20 days old Baby

Tax Benefits

“Merely 20 days into the world, my baby caught hold of Jaundice. I was taken aback completely because the disease can be fatal in a newborn and can cause organ failure. We admitted our baby to the village hospital for 3 days. However, the health condition deteriorated even further. We had to admit him to KEM because our baby started facing dehydration issues and faced a lot of other problems. The weight started to drop rapidly and we are still praying to god to save our newborn baby.”
-Priti; mother of 20 days old newborn baby

Mr. Vikas and Mrs. Priti can’t afford to rent a room nearby to the hospital so they sleep on the hospital corridor.
Mr. Vikas and Mrs. Priti are the parents of the newborn. Mrs. Priti is a homemaker and she is staying in hospital to take care of the newborn. Mr. Vikas is a farmer and he is the sole breadwinner for his family. But his income of INR. 10,000 isn’t sufficient to support the family of 5 members. They have exhausted all their savings for hospital admissions, medicines for Priti and the newborn baby. The income is not stable. With only the income of Vikas, all the medication for the newborn is being done. The entire family’s basic necessities are dependent on Vikas. The baby needs NICU Stay for 1.5 months and the cost for it is beyond the means of the family. Now, you can play a part and save the life of the newborn by extending your support.

  • Medical Condition

Baby of Priti is born on the 8th month of pregnancy with a weight of merely 900 gms. The doctors have advised NICU Stay for the baby for 1.5 months. The total estimated expenditure would be around INR. 4,00,000 (INR. 4 lacs only) which is more than which the family can afford.
With this family in such a situation; I would urge everyone to extend their support with whatever they can afford.
