    Aisha has been mentally and physically disabled since birth. Aisha is currently 22 years old and she is dependable on family for her mobility and other basic needs. A few days after birth, due to lack of proper response in Aisha’s body, she was taken to the doctor where doctors concluded that Aisha was 100% disabled. Aisha’s family has 9 members. She has two brothers and both brothers are laborers and their entire household expenses are run by their income. Aisha’s father does not have any permanent job. As Aisha is growing old, her family struggles with her mobility. Please help her by donating for a Wheelchair which can improve her mobility.

    Thank you Donors for Blessing Aisha with a gift of Mobility this Ramadan!
    The 2019 “State of the Education Report for India: Children with Disabilities” took into account the 2011 census, according to which there are 78,64,636 children with disability in India constituting 1.7 percent of the total child population.
    75% of children with disabilities don’t attend schools in India: UNESCO. Three-fourths of the children with disabilities at the age of five years and one-fourth between 5-19 years do not go to any educational institution.
    Additionally, 12% of the children with disability have dropped out of school and 27% of children with disability have never attended any educational institution.
    Such is the case of Aisha who is mentally and physically disabled. She can’t talk and her mobility is affected due to her disability.
    Through Project MedAssist, Pledge Foundation focuses on helping special needs children by providing Medical Equipments.
    With the help of our esteemed donors; Pledge Foundation has provided Aisha with Wheelchair which not only solved her mobility issues but also empowered her so that she don’t have to be depended on someone else completely.
